Dr. Kjersten Jones
As a healthcare provider, Dr. Jones is dedicated to helping families in the community experience improved health and vitality through patient education, adjustments, lifestyle changes and nutrition advice. Kjersten has a love for learning and is constantly learning new techniques and information to further help her patients with headaches, ailments of the spine and extremities. Kjersten is a Certified Pediatric chiropractor (CACCP) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) that specializes in prenatal care, pregnancy and children. Additionally, her background as an athlete gives her insight to injuries of the extremities incurred in sports and running. Her mission is to empower as many people as possible to experience their optimal health potential through genuine care and education.
Dr. Jones uses a variety of techniques and extremity adjustments to specialize treatment to each individual patient, helping them achieve a higher quality of life. Kjersten is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and employs a number of chiropractic techniques including Diversified (manual), Sacral Occipital Technique, Thompson/drop piece, Activator, as well as, soft tissue techniques. Dr. Jones is also certified in Webster Technique as well. Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of SI dysfunction which improves the biomechanical function of the pelvis. This is especially important in pregnancy.
Kjersten grew up on a farm in central Minnesota. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin—Eau Claire in Biology. During her time in Eau Claire, she was a sprinter on the Track and Field team. She was involved in many organizations throughout Chiropractic school and graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota, in 2011.
In her free time, Kjersten spends time with her husband, Brandon and dog, Joey. She is excited to be back in Idaho to spend time hiking, camping and taking pictures in the mountains. She enjoys running, reading, deer hunting, traveling and creating photobooks. A few items on Dr. Jones’ bucket list are to visit all 30 MLB stadiums and all U.S. National Parks.
